We are thrilled to announce 137 in-person and online Official Showcases for our 2022 conference! This year we are hosting a hybrid conference, with events both in-person (in Kansas City) and online, from February 23-27. More online showcases will be announced closer to the conference. We have confirmed artists from twenty U.S. states and thirteen countries.
Official Showcases at the 2022 conference will be performed in person at the Westin Crown Center Hotel in Kansas City, MO. Each showcase will be recorded and available for viewing the next day on our online conference platform for virtual attendees.
All in-person conference attendees are required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination in advance of the conference. Masks are also required for all attendees. The only exception is artists while they are performing or panelists while speaking. The capacity for our in-person event is limited to 2,000 delegates.
Our 2022 conference theme is Living Traditions and will showcase various regional, national and international traditional folk music forms in performance as well as panel presentations.
