Having grown up with a father who was in the cattle business, Claudia Nygaard spent much of her childhood on a ranch in the San Joaquin Valley of California. These are the songs that took root in the adobe clay scuffed up by her little cowgirl boots. They will be the tunes on her next WESTERN album “To Race The Wind”.
