Raised In The Room: Micah John & Friends is a celebration of Micah’s 18th birthday, Club Passim, and the impact of this musical community.
Since first seeing Jake Armerding at Passim when she was 3, Passim has been Micah’s musical home. Growing up in the room – usually sitting at table 13 – she’s been introduced to countless heroes, songs, and tunes. These musical moments have laid the foundation for a lifetime of musical development, provided constant inspiration, and generated deep and meaningful relationships.
On Friday, December 1st, Micah will bring together dear friends and mentors for an evening of songs that she encountered in the room – artists and songs that reflect 15 years at Club Passim. Featuring Celia Woodsmith, Dinty Child, Eleanor Buckland, Evan Murphy, Lillian Chase, Lindsay Foote, Mark Erelli, Maxfield Anderson, Sean Staples, Zachariah Hickman, and more!
