The Woodstock Folk Festival (Illinois) Virtual tribute to Bill Staines

The Woodstock Folk Festival (Illinois) will present a FREE virtual tribute to Bill Staines on Sunday afternoon, February 6, what would have been his 75th birthday. It will premiere at 1 p.m./CST, 2 PM EST on the Festival website, https://woodstockfolkfestival.org/ and also be available to view on demand any time after the premiere, honoring America’s quintessential troubadour, Bill Staines, who passed away on December 5, 2021, through words and music in pre-recorded performances of Bill’s songs.
Performers include the Passim All-Stars (Mason Daring, Jeanie Stahl, Billy Novick, Guy Van Duser, Stuart Schulman), Priscilla Herdman, Joe Jencks, Mara Levine with Gathering Time (Stuart Markus and Hillary Foxsong), Tom May, and Small Potatoes (Jacquie Manning and Rich Prezioso)
There is no fee for this virtual event, but the Festival encourages viewers to support performers by getting tickets to their upcoming concerts, buying their CDs, and joining their Patreon and other platforms.
