Two Way Street Coffee House–Michael Miles
January 29 @ 8:00 PM - 9:00 PM CST
Two Way Street Coffee House is going live! Tune in to the virtual Friday Night Concert Series every Friday night at 8pm CST for our special livestream virtual concert!
On Friday, January 29th, Two Way Street Coffee House Friday Night Concert Series presents Michael J. Miles.
Pete Seeger once said of one of Michael’s recordings “This is one of the most beautiful recordings I’ve heard in all my 70 years… It is enough to make me want to learn the banjo all over again.”
Michael Miles grew up in an Irish family and blends folk tradition like Pete Seeger with styles ranging from classical to classic jazz. The renowned Old Town School of Folk Music named him the 2018 Musician and Educator of the Year. His artistry on the banjo seems to have no end. His soul along with the eras, places, and people he sings about come through in his performance and recordings.
You may access the livestream on www.twowaystreet.org or on our Facebook page or YouTube channel.
