
Book a room at the official conference hotels
The Westin Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center and the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel at Crown Center are the official hotels for our 2024 conference!
Room reservations must be made prior to 5 pm on Monday, January 29, 2024 for the Westin. If you receive a notice that there aren’t any rooms available, try changing the arrival and departure dates.
There is no deposit required to book a room.
The room block is Feb 18 – 27. You cannot book rooms at the room block rate outside these dates. If you need to extend your reservation outside these dates, book your stay in the room block, and then contact the hotel directly to add additional dates at their normal room rate.

King Bed: $173/night plus taxes & fees* (current total $208.52)
Two Double Beds: $173/night plus taxes & fees* (current total $208.52)
Sheraton Kansas City Hotel Rates
King Bed: $158/night plus taxes & fees* (current total $190.75)
Two Queen Beds: $158/night plus taxes & fees* (current total $190.75)

Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your hotel room with no charge 48 hour prior to arrival day. After that, there is a one-night room and tax charge for late cancellations. To ensure that conference registrants have access to the hotel block, FAI reserves the right to remove hotel reservations from the block if the hotel guest is not registered for the conference.

The windows at both the Westin and the Sheraton do not open.
HVAC and Air Filtration in the meeting room spaces: the hotel has one air handler that serves multiple meeting rooms with VAV boxes to adjust the room temps in each meeting room. If every meeting room is being occupied and VAV’s are open, the changeover rate is roughly 9.664 per hour. The level increases when some meeting rooms are shut off and airflow is targeted to specific occupied meeting rooms.
