Artist Scholarships

Must be a current member of Folk Alliance International (you can join once you’ve been notified of scholarship acceptance).
Must be a first-time attendee for an in-person conference.
Priority will be given to Official Showcase applicants.
Priority will be given to artists who attend FAI regional conferences.
Scholarship amounts can range from 50-100% conference registration discount (does not include travel or hotel).
Bands can apply as a group as long as each member is a first-timer. If anyone in the group is not a first-timer, please apply individually.
Scholarships close on November 1, 2025. Applications will be reviewed weekly.
Please do not register for the conference until you received a scholarship notice. If you do not qualify for a scholarship, you will be able to register at the registration rate when you applied. ‍
Scholarships awarded are based on the availability of funds (FAI welcomes donations to the Scholarships Fund).
