We are all aware of the Americans with Disabilities Act and how it has increased physical access for millions of people for over 30 years. With COVID-19 severely affecting our ability to congregate and connect in person, accessibility services are more important than ever. Presenters and artists are not only seeking ways to increase inclusion and reach audiences of all abilities across virtual platforms, but to do it well. What are the best ways to connect with audiences who may need assistance through captioning, sign-language or Audio Description?
This webinar will cover exactly what accessibility means, why it’s needed, and how it can be facilitated. We’ll touch upon including accessibility in social media to market shows, as well as exploring the nuts & bolts of platforms and methods for virtual experiences, live-streaming, and subsequent broadcasts. Our panelists will be available for a live Q+A session following the presentation.
