Join a panel of music industry leaders from around the world for an informative discussion of how they are supporting artists, shifting paradigms and pivoting to face the challenges presented by the current pandemic and its predicted impact on the live music sector.

Panelist:

Geneviève Côté is SOCAN’s Chief Officer for Quebec Affairs and Visual Arts. She plays a critical role in advocacy for SOCAN members with government most recently since the COVID-19 situation began.

Glenn Dickie is the Export Music Producer for Sounds Australia. Glenn has led an Australian delegation at a variety of international music conferences including SXSW, Americanafest, and Folk Alliance at FAI, helping to develop and deliver opportunities for Australian Folk artists and industry.

Sheena Keane is an international manager who has represented artists including Jenn Grant, Mick Flannery and Valerie June. Sheena has curated several editions of Folk Alliance International’s micro-conference, 'The ExChange'.

Sam Lee is a Mercury Prize-nominated folk singer, conservationist, song collector, award-winning promoter, broadcaster, and activist. His organization The Nest Collective, based out of the United Kingdom, has shaken up the live music scene breaking the boundaries between folk and contemporary music.

Carolina Rojas Posada is the Strategic Alliance Director of REDLAT/Circulart - The Latin American Network of Cultural Producers. She also founded the cultural festival La Magdalena Fest, which honors the main river of Colombia.
