It’s Day 2 at FAI 2025 and we’re kicking into full gear. Lots and lots of programming  and a packed schedule of live music.
A few very important notes:
- Food from outside is not allowed in the hotel common areas. Please respect the hotel’s union rules and don’t bring food.
- Registration Badges: Regrettably, with the huge influx of attendees today our badge printers ran out of ink. Your wristband is your ticket and will get you anywhere you need to go. We hope to be able to print more badges after 2pm.
- Attention Artists: An email went out yesterday to all artists with information about how to change your photo, website, or bio in the conference app in case any of those things are incorrect or out of date. Please check your email for instructions.
- From 10-11pm go to the 4th floor to access the elevators.

Affinity Groups
Today’s Affinity Groups include: 55+, Folks Coping with Loss, Latine, LGBTQ2IA+
Affinity Groups are intended to be safer spaces for folks of a specific lived identity to commune with one another within a Folk Alliance context. The idea is to bring folks together in a supportive environment to share experiences, listen and make connections, without fear of discrimination, shame, or reprimand for being of that lived experience. Generally, these groups are folks who have been historically oppressed, erased or ignored. Affinity groups are moderated by a person within the group who has received some training through FAI.
