Region
Folk Alliance is currently seeking nominations for the 2025 Clearwater Award and 2025 Folk Radio Hall of Fame. The winners will be announced at FAI 2025 at the International Folk Music Awards ceremony in Montréal, Canada.
The Clearwater Award is presented annually to a festival that prioritizes environmental stewardship and demonstrates public leadership in sustainable event production.
The Folk Radio Hall of Fame was established to recognize radio DJs and presenters who have made an outstanding contribution to the preservation, promotion, and presentation of folk music, and who have demonstrated and inspired leadership in the broadcast field.
In addition, Folk Alliance members are entitled to make IFMA nominations for the Best Song, Best Album, and Best Artist awards. Please check out our previous blog post for details on how to submit nomations for the Best Of awards!
